Computer Classes for Adults with I/DD

Using a computer may not seem like a big deal these days...but did you know that only 25% of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities own one?

And less than half have access to the Internet.

Computer knowledge and access have become something many of us take for granted, and we believe technology should be accessible to everyone.

In partnership with Comcast, The Arc Lane County is offering a new, interactive six-week class covering computer basics to adults with disabilities.

 Areas of focus include:

  • Internet safety
  • Setting up/using E-mail
  • Navigating the web
